Children's Advocacy is a crisis center that works with sexually and physically abused children and is designed to be a safe and friendly place for them to come and be heard and help them get on the road to recovery.

Approximately 25 years ago, Children's Advocacy Center began offering services in a small room with two people, a card table and two chairs. Operating under the name of Child Protection Team its purpose was to determine whether or not, child abuse was occurring. Today, under the name of Children's Advocacy Center, after many years of hard work, CAC offers abuse determination, therapy, parenting education, offender programs and prevention programs. The center also has a community presence in Pine Manor, Suncoast Estates and Harlem Heights. Children's Advocacy Center is one of the largest children's advocacy centers in the state of Florida.

In 2006, we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary, a quarter century of excellent work within the community.
