Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida opened the Harper Resource Center in Fort Myers, funded by a $25,000 grant from the Daniel R. & Anne M. Harper Foundation. The renovated space provides families impacted by abuse and neglect with essentials such as clothing, hygiene products and diapers during their visits. Stevens Construction completed the renovation, converting underutilized space into a welcoming supply hub that supports the CAC’s advocacy and counseling services. Since opening, officials for the nonprofit said the center has already helped dozens of families across Lee, Hendry, Glades and Charlotte counties.
