Recently, some of the dogs and handlers in our Beesley’s Paw Prints Pet Therapy program got together to visit outside the Lee County courthouse. Humans aren’t the only ones who need social contact! The program has also been participating in Zoom sessions with the local chapter of Best Buddies, an organization that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
